I delivered a full web performance overhaul that significantly improved both the mobile and desktop experience of the client’s website.
Through targeted structural refinements, we launched a faster, more intuitive interface that performs better across devices. The result: a site that loads cleaner, navigates smoother, and is better positioned to retain users and rank higher.
The website’s visual structure was working against it. The original layout (on mobile and desktop) lacked responsiveness and efficiency, which was affecting usability and likely contributing to poor Core Web Vitals.
These layout issues and poor responsiveness were creating friction for users and likely undermining SEO performance.
I stripped away what was slowing the site down and rebuilt the front-end experience with performance in mind.
This included implementing lazy loading to improve initial load times, optimising images for size without compromising quality, and reworking the layout to reduce cumulative layout shift (CLS).
To put it in simple terms, I compressed large images so pages load faster, reducing clutter that caused pages to jump or shift as they loaded, and deferring non-essential content (like videos or lower-page images) to load only when needed.
Behind the scenes, I also cleaned up the page structure so Google could crawl and understand the site more easily. The result is a faster, smoother experience that benefits both users and search engines.
